What we do

Time to Read

Our Time2Read program provides children, aged seven to nine, with reading support from a business volunteer over a 20 week program.
10 Value Retail Volunteers take part in the program. This involves visiting the school and spending one hour each week with the students.

Skills@Work

Provides students with a unique insight into the world of work. Over the school year, students learn about the partnering company and to consider different careers and further study options available to them when they finish school.
Sessions include a site visit, CV writing skills, Mock Interview, Day in the Life insights, work shadowing and work experience

Maynooth University

The Undergraduate Placement Program formally integrates the student’s academic study with closely co-ordinated job roles, based on the work abilities of the student and the objectives of each program.
The student develops an understanding of the professional, practical world of industry. The blending of theory and practice increases student motivation and allows a clearer view of their career path
