Magee 1866

Magee was established in 1866 by John Magee, as a small drapers shop in Donegal, Ireland, buying and selling handwoven tweeds. In 1900 Robert Temple bought the business and today the 4th and 5th generation of family are at the helm – Lynn, Charlotte, Patrick and Rosy. A true family business!

Magee are still designing and weaving luxury fabrics in Donegal – the ever-changing land and seascapes surrounding Donegal inspire colours and designs. We use the finest of yarns – cashmere, lambswool, alpaca, silk and linen. These fabrics are used for men and women’s apparel and home furnishing.

Magee are unique in the fact that we incorporate many of these fabrics into seasonal men and women’s lifestyle collections. We have been specialising in finely tailored garments for over 100 years. Our men’s and womenswear collections incorporate a range of lifestyle looks from classic coats and jackets to casual knits and shirts. To complete the range we have launched a Magee accessory collection – luxury products designed and made in Ireland and the UK. Home interiors include throws and candles while accessories for men and women include pashminas, scarves and bags.

Every Magee collection, whether fabric, garment or accessory is designed to reflect our distinctive heritage with a contemporary twist.
