Rhasidat Adeleke

At just 16 years old, Rhasidat is an international sprinter for Ireland.

She won gold at the 2018 European Youth Athletics Championships in Hungary this summer and is a 2020 Olympic hopeful. Rhasidat’s motivation is to be the best at whatever she does.

Rhasidat believes that there is a tremendous amount of talent in female athletes in Ireland however there is not enough support given to them and many quit before they have reached their full potential. She hopes that she will be able to encourage and support more girls and women to participate in sport in the future.
